Not sure if anyone else saw this announcement:

Think there were rumors about it for some time, but this is first confirmation I've seen.

I will hold out for the vocal free version after these samples

Everybody still has it... except Dave. Sorry Dave :help:
I don't understand why Dave thinks we wanted him to twist up the vocals like he did, and then he can't hit his own range anymore.

Yikes. When I posted link earlier, samples weren't there.

Dave's vocals have never really been top notch live. Curious how the remastered VH1 and 1984 will sound. I already have one "remastered" version of VH1.

I can't imagine the new remasters sounding any different that the other "remasters" they put out. I have those.....
I don't know; I'm no expert. I guess a sound engineer would be able to tell if they listened closely.

They're grasping at straws trying to make money since there's no new music / record coming that I know of. :palm:

Very disappointing...... At least put out some old live stuff from the late 70s & early 80s. :bang:

Ed seems to be in a good place and Wolfi is doing a good job paying homage to EVH and his original fans with all those posts on twitter. More of that please. Still, none of these guys have to prove a damn thing, but please, don't go filling a dumpster with all your old boxes of parts. Somewhere in there is the original black pick guard, car horn effect, WWII bomb rack, etc....

In Guitar Center last week-I walk in and there is all these old school 78 real vinyl records.
What do I spy sitting right in the front most of the display?
VH1 and VH2 and 1984 with all original looking album art.
Makes me wanna buy a record player now
