The Shark
I’m surprised there isn’t any talk of the new EVH shark guitar. For a player that didn’t want anyone to copy his tone, technique, and look, you can at least get the look now. Though based on this forum, everyone that wanted one probably already has one of their own making. That’s really part of the fun I think.

Re: The Shark
Not sure what any of that means but the dude loved that guitar -- played it a ton when it was white/silver, then afterwards. But said multiple times after he cut chunks out of it he couldn't make it sound good any more so that was it. Surprised it took so long to come out with a replica.
At it awhile, still learnin'

Re: The Shark
It's an iconic looking guitar for being in the early VH1 video singles and on the cover of W&CF ... but as we know, it was not used on VH1 in the condition it was seen in, and it wasn't used on VH2, W&CF or later. It only lives on EVH's wall.fivecoyote wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 4:32 pmNot sure what any of that means but the dude loved that guitar -- played it a ton when it was white/silver, then afterwards. So it is a replica of the worst that instrument sounded ... and the headstock is off ... hard pass!
A white Explorer would have been nicer, but no one would know what that was bout except for 15 people on this forum.

LOL.... You're probably right about that!
Have always wanted a 75-76 Ibanez Destroyer in original condition, hope to pick one up this year.
