Hi my name is Ed.

I'm 40 years old and playing with a classic rock band. I am the lead singer and share guitar duties with another. I always play Marshalls and Gibsons. It wasn't always that way. I've been playing about 30 years. I really like all the info here. I've been repairing and modding for a while now and I am awaiting a 2204 board to throw in my butchered 2205. I have modded my reissue 1959 into a 2203 and also added Sozo caps to it. As of last night I think I found a happy medium with it. Anyhow thanks for having me.

Yeah, I know all about the jokes!!!!

I never wanted to be the singer. I sort of got thrown into it. I mainly did back up/harmonies. One day back in 1987 a band was looking to steal my drummer and he said he wasn't going anywhere without me. They said as long as he can sing that was fine. Now look where I am. Playing the same clubs I played back then!!!!! Oh well, as long as the good Lord gives me the gift, I'm going to use it!!! I'm working on installing the 2204 board in my amp now. Pictures to come soon.
