Ok, Why can't I get these things to play? Nothin' I do don't seem to work, it only seems to make matters worse, oh, please...that;s wierd...Deja Vu.
Anyway, Joe is defintiely one of my faves. Probably seem him live 5 or 6 times, including "Hell Freezes Over". Saw him about a dozen years back (ordinary average guy tour) and he says "Anyone wanna hear an Eagles Song?" to which the crowd goes wild, to which he respons, "Might as well, since I'm the only one still in the damn band!"
Dat man is a hoot.

Well, putfile uses embedded windows media player so depending on your setup it could be a number of issues. I saw Walsh in '88 or '87 at the Gulfstream Race Park (i think that was the name) in South Florida....it was just a trio but man, he kicked it....was like a "best of" show. The one thing I remember is him constantly switching LPs mid song for the slide parts....almost seemed like he did this for every song.

Joe would do that sorta thing just to mess with gear heads, I imagine. In '91/'92 era I saw him play in a club with the full band (two drummers, the whole 9 yards). He started the show playing Desperado, SOLO, on elec piano. Not too shabby. He later played the percussion break in Funk 49 using a rack of hanging pots and pans. Schweet. He finished the night by playing the slide solo for Rocky Mountain Way with the only other real slide instrument I know of...Trombone. Joe's da man!
It's not just putfile, I can never look at vids that use that sort of imbedded media player, as you put it. I assume it's some setting on my pooter. If you know where I might start lookin', I'd apprecitate the tip. Thanks.
