Actually, I had a dream one night similar to Shane's.

Awhile back I dreamed that I was playing, usual scenario, you know, Metro Kit Plexi fully cranked on 11...yada yada yada, and the amp was fuckin' rockin'! Then I just happen to glance in the back of the amp and HOLY SHIT!!! I swear the power tubes' glass envelopes were literally shattering into pieces! I mean, like cheesy 80's hair metal style!

Then I woke up. Now that I think about it all, it was pretty fuckin' funny!

That's what i'm talking about. That scene belongs in your typical Queensryche video. If it were in a Pink Floyd video, it should melt into a pshychedilic looking pool smeared with a kaleidescope of colors.

Ya no crap. For an even shittier tone, put it through a Crate VooDoo!

Speaking of which, I'm in the process of building one of George's 68 PTP replacment boards for my SLP R/I ( after bugging George with emails for more installation info only to find that for some reason, I can't open the PDF's for the component layout and wiring diagrams on my computer at home so, I do it at work and print them out) I can't wait to hear the difference though. Next will be new vol/tone pots and a MM OT 8)

Thought I was logged in ^

What do I need to open those PDFs? I'm using the latest version of Acrobat. Is there something else I need ( besides a new brain)?

Oh well, The craziest dreams I'm having are walking into my music room and finding that my SLP is gone and sitting in it's place is a Crate or Peavey amp and going completely insane and asking my wife what happened to the Marshall  , and of course, she doesn't know and I spend the rest of the dream looking all over creation for it, while everyone else acts like nothing is wrong, until I wake up.

Yea, I guess Dr. Phil is needed here.

I agree with you 110% "dirtydeeds22". You get caught here with a few grams of pot and they just look at you and say "don't do that ok! and let you go", specialy if its for your own personnal usage. All the therapeutical qualities of "it" is also a reality (for some people its the only thing that will make them painfree in some deseases, etc...).

Has an outsider let me tell ya that here and all over the rest of the planet whiches that the "Cowboy" or if you want the planet's "Sheriff" don't get re-elected, so please make you a favor and do the right thing next week, I promise I will not talk about politics anymore now!!!!!!!!
5150loveeddie,
Sorry dude. I tried to do my part to get the "nightmare Cowboy"out. It's going to be an interesting 4 more years.

Today's a sad, sad day for America and the world. :( If you want to re-educate yourself on stuff that's happened during the first Bush presidency please check out this thread on my brother's forum (who's not politically active, nor is his forum political in nature per se). I have turned this thread into a blog of sorts and a virtual library of interesting weblinks that tell a different truth than what you hear, see and read in the media:

For the most recent posts just go the latest page, which is currently page 27. Shane (and others), if you feel like ranting and making political contributions feel free to join. Hope to see some of you there!

Yeah I read somewhere that only 1 out of 10 young adults voted(18-24 years of age...) that is way to low!!??

I think Bush got it again because the majority of people in the states fears for everything(security....) and that Ben Laden actualy helped him last week with his video.

I understand that we need security but don't get paranoid for it.

No offence to you all but the world sees Bush as the red neck of the planet.

I wouldn't dare try to go and drive my car in the middle of Taxas with my Quebec licence plate showing off,... I might get red neked up my ass!!!!!

But hey don't get me wrong we have OUR red necks also here!!!!!

My livejournal rant shows your points that you make. We are very paranoid from Mr. War Monger Bush. More reason to hate him...

Bin Laden didn't plan the 9/11 attacks out of a cave in Afghanistan. The tape which supposedly showed him is a fake and just too much of a coincidence. It's Bush's much-talked-about October surprise and it helped win him the election. Bin Laden is a patsy, Al Qaeda is a CIA creation, and the real culprits are the neocons currently in the White House for a second term. 9/11 was an inside job! There's no way OBL could stand NORAD down for 1.5 hours. No steel structure has ever collapsed in a vertical line in 10 seconds as a result of fire, not even OBL could pull that one off. Controlled demolitions bring buildings down vertically in 10 seconds. The American people were seriously pissed off at Bush for stealing the 2000 election and his pre-9/11 popularity was dangerously low - less than 50%, which is usually grounds for impeachment. When 9/11 happened he was completely wrapped up in the Enron scandal. Then came 9/11. On that same day plans were under way to invade Iraq. They invented the WMD excuse and now more than 1,100 US troops and 100,000 Iraqi civilians are dead as a result of a lie. You bet OBL helped him with that tape. Bush couldn't have thought of a better guy to endorse him. These are the same guys (Wolfowitz, Perle, Cheney et al) that invented the global communist threat and now they're doing it with muslims, their new enemy. First they create the crisis, then they offer the solution. More about this and related topics in the Shocked thread on my brother's forum:

There probably is a great big secret they are hiding from the public. Anyone could shoot of an idea about the secret, and who knows... it could be the truth that they never will tell us. The US government has a tomb of secrets that go from Roswell, JFK, 9/11...etc. More reason to not totally trust everything you hear on the news.

Shane,

You're right on the money to pick up on a historical trail of secrets, lies, coverups and disinformation. Luckily these days we have the internet. For some truths on who's really behind 9/11 check out this post from my brother's forum:

You know what really scary? Scouring the web today it seems apparent that MORALITY ISSUES are what the people in the red states used to validate Bush. It's so amazing to me that someone who could call themselves a Christian could allow all these lies about the to war slide, but then vote for Bush based on Morality. Americans are too worried about whether a woman can have an abortion, or whether gays and lesbians get married, but can let a illegal war go on and never even question it. Talk about twisted MORALS. Our perceptions are really fucked up, no wonder the rest of the world watches in amazement.

I couldn't have said it better. If you want more gross facts, watch "Bowling for Columbine" and "Farenheit 911". Michael Moore may seem like a blubbering vagina, but he's one smart Michigander.

Dirtydeeds is right about the morality issues. Today i see the moral issue's tying into Christian beliefs, and the president is just as guilty. Last time i checked, we have a thing called the Seperation of Church and State, and Bush seems to be ignoring it to some extent. I understand Jean when you say the world is watching in amazement, and i can see why you are laughing. Believe me, i'm laughing too!
