Guitar painter needed...

Post by NY Chief » Thu May 04, 2006 5:46 pm

A luthier who works out of space in my friends drum business (GMS Drums) landed the job of painting guitars for Amercian Hagstrom. They have limited space and man power and are looking for reliable guitar painters to farm out work. Anybody got any leads?

GMW if they aren't too busy. Take a look over on www.gmwguitars.com on what they have/can do. Look at some of the guitars on www.nealmoser.com to see the level of gloss these guys can achieve. If they are looking for less full on production type jobs I can put you in contact with my cousin, who does restoration type refins on vintage gear.

The guys who do the ultra fancy low rider show cars can paint guitars too. Usually fairly cheap as its something different to do. They all pretty much use N/C too.

Heck, if you go that route you gotta get the hand-painted pinstripes too! :)
