U think the other folks on the plane would mind if you ask the attendant to play it on the big screen during the flight?

I wholeheartedly agree. LOTS of good info. I might never use most of it but it's there if I do.
I'm anxiously waiting for TUT4.
Never settle for an amp thats smaller then you are.

My friend who's been like an amp building machine this past year swears by Dave Funk's Tube Amp Workbook. It's mostly geared towards Fender as far as schematics and whatnot go, but the technical info is supposed to be top-notch.

I just found this one at a book store. I've never seen it mentioned.
The Guitar Amp Handbook by Dave Hunter

It does a great job at explaining the basics for beginners, but is also deep enough for most of the more advanced guys.
The end has interviews with Ken Fischer, Vic w/ Mojave, Dr. Z, etc. (he should have asked George!)
