this sucks

Post by johniss0001 » Fri Aug 18, 2006 1:30 pm

right remember i was supposed to go to the marshall factory as an asskicking 16th birthday pressie but that ain't happening any more!. Most of you prob know this story i've been a marshall fanatic since i was 8 and i got my amp signed then some twatt told me to put laqure on the sig to preserve it and it had the oppisote effect. but i was all set to go down to london and things took a turn for the worst jim was in hospital and they refused us filming even though it was 4 me i've set myself up for another fall! but all i get now is $100 that ain't as fun as the trip woulda been. who needs marshall now! With all the dudes on this site, (hats off to ya fellows) i am so confident i can build a better stack and design my own speaker cabs etc, even though my woodwork ain't 100% my cabs are still solid and air tight! sorry for the rant fellows but i think they are takin the piss outta me just cause i'm a kid and if he ain't buying anything from us we ain't interested! and everything i make i was speakin to their tech there he said he wanted to see pictures so it's weird. maybe i should rip the marshall logo off my amp or put a new black faceplate on it.

my birthday was in may guys, lol that graphic was made by a cool chick in the states, i wanna get that into a transfer and on to my amp when i build her. but yeah a lot of scottish girls are like that. you know what i brag about the amps and stuff i plan on making and my cab being a marshall killer even though it ain't done it just goes to show how switched on i am but the dream thing yes that was a bummer. jerry when i first found this site i knew i was in teh right place!

Happy Birthday John. Sorry about your trip. You're right about making your own. Did you think it was funny that a Marshall tech was asking you for pics of your amp? Should say that you will sell him a few pictures of it.

Man O' Man I wish they had this Stuff when I was younger...
I was into everything about music but never knew how an amp actualy produced sound.
Like a Race Car Driver sorta thing I just drove the Biggest & Baddest muscle cars and knew little about the engine.
Well, now, thanks to Metro and other forums and, as you mentioned "With all the dudes on this site" with their generosity of info,
we all can build the Biggest & Baddest "Marshall" engines than ever before.

Sorry to hear about that but...
It is time to delv in an get your fingers greasey, John. !
