I've read somewhere that child abusers/molesters tend to get treated the worst in prison, if not outright killed.

Most of the other prisoners are in on drug related charges. If it weren't for the their addictions, they just would be a regular Joe. Many have sisters, and some are even parents themselves, and they are just as protective of them as any parent or brother. Even the prisoners have their standards.
