But 27 bids at the moment- the price would be no problem for Bill Gates or Bill Gibbons...

Maybe (!!!) in it's previous life it was a TOKAI, ORVILLE or GRECO?

I know for shure, a skilled guitarbuilder can do nearly everything...

A japanese Bankdirector should buy it for investment, so that the Guitar would come back to her native homeland!

Regards

Robert

These almost never actually sell on eBay. Arrangements are made out side and the eBay ad is just that an ad to let people know. I wish they wouldn't have the private auction thing. It is fun to try and figure out who is actually bidding one something like this.

Yawn, sorry Bainz, these burstboys are so tiresome.
The colour is crap,Allman burst, yeah right,I am personally tired of private auctions, just advertise in the Wall Street Journal, cause that's where the buyer will be reading!lol!
Why use a plebian forum such as Ebay?
Even the Les Paul Forum is snobby, after my one 'vintage' guitar, the '54 Junior,I'll retire from the vintage guitar market, amps are cheaper and moore fun!
I posted a Maxx burst last time and it was allready at 18K! I was sorry to waste forum space with that.
I don't like to negative post, but this Les Paul boys club, is what it is.

Hi guys,

regarding the skills that some guitarmakers have, take a look here: a GIBSON Les Paul Custom REPLICA with the GIBSON-logo- this shop also sells PRS Artist Custom 22- replicas...

At least, they are announced as "replicas", and not as "originals"...

I really wonder about the Gibson/ PRS- lawyers!

My Heritage Gary Moore models, are the best Gibson's I ever bought, and construction wise,I'd put them up against any '50's burst! :D :D
Built by the same guys,on the same machinery and in the same place, sounds lik it could be true!
