This pedal is really nice in front of my 71' Marshall small box. I A/B'd this with my Time Machine Boost and supprisingly compares very favorabily. It can work as a clean boost and as a very crisp overdrive or as a distortion pedal with a clean amp. I did not expect this to sound as good as it did. I guess that I expected it to sound like a chain saw Krank head. It did not! It provided enough boost to send my Marshall over the top and still sound like my Marshall. In fact, I'll probably be playing out with this instead of my more expensive TMB.
