I've got one of those Digitech X series delays.I use it on the tape delay setting for a vintage kinna Jimmy Page type echo.IMO it does a real nice copy of a tape machine and is pretty warm.
Anyways does anyone have one of these or another Digitech X pedal and is your foot switch tempermental??
Sometimes mine has to be hit a few times to turn on or off and other times it operates perfectly normal. Its done it since new(3yrs).It'll work fine for awhile then start its BS for awhile then fix itself.

I haven't had that problem, but I've had power supply issues with mine (digidelay). Apparently it requires a certain 9.6 volt adapter and becomes somewhat temermental with a BOSS, Godlyke or Onespot adapter. What are you using to power yours? Some people seem to have this problem, others don't.

Wow never heard that. I use a One spot to power my chorus, delay and DS-1.Ya think that could be part of the problem??Cause it will still stick once in awhile but not nearly as bad as befor I stretched the spring.(liveable).
I can tell ya those Digidelays eat batteries in like 2hrs and do all sorts of crazy things when the batteries die.I thought mine was broken till I tried a AC adapter.

There are lots of reports on the Digitech forum (which is possible to find with a lot of hunting through their web site) of the pedals switching off after about 10 minutes of play. That's what mine has been doing. It does it with the one spot, Godlyke and a stand alone boss adapter. Same daisy chained or not. Apparantly people who've had problems like this with the digidelay have been able to solve it by ordering the proper adapter (which is the DOD PS200R). I ordered one which should arrive in a few days and I'll report if it solves the issue on my end.
According to Digitech, you can experience all kinds of power related problems (including the pedal just dieing) using other adapters. That sucks big time, and is a pain in the ass. I wish the digidelay didn't sound so damn good or I'd just get something else! I have a number of nice delays including a Maxon AD-900 and TC Electronics unit, and I still dig the digidelay best in my wet / dry rig.

Yea they do sound pretty good.I was in the local store to get a Boss DD-3 about 3yrs ago and my freind who runs the big local studio told me to try the digitech instead and well I bought it.
Did ya get your adapter and did it work for you?

Just got it in a before the weekend and I've been running my delay all weekend. So far, no shutdowns. Seems the adapter was the key to solving my problem.
