We'll see. The D in Phily gets no respect. But for the last 2 games which amounted to 2 preseason games, we'd have the lowest points allowed in the league by far. I dont think stats matter but if there is a stat that matters, its points allowed. Phily has every bit the linebacking and End talent and strength Tampa and Kansas City have and they routed Atlanta because of that strength. Trotter, Douglas, Kearse, Simon. Plus the guy that almost single handedly knocked Vik out of the playoffs and his shoes 2 years ago at safety- Brian Dawkins.
They also havent won a road game in 2 months.
Im still shitin bricks. 2 more days.
Dirty your boys laid another egg at Indy this year and messed me up. I had them as this years wild card surprise team the begining of this season.

Billy,
Don't you know it. Denver, all the hype and nothing to show. I'm actually a HGMMM (let me clear my throat) a Niner fan, my wife is the die hard Bronco fan. So I've got nothing to show for this season except a new coach and a pissed off wife. Happy me. I hope Philly does it this year. I really like the D and I hope they bring it against Vick, but you've got to admit he's a scary player, totally unpredictable and the MOVES. What's the weather supposed to be like up there game day? Let's hope for some nasty Northeast weather to throw a wrench in the Dirty Birds game. I lived down in GA (when they had Jeff George as the QB) and the radio stations called them the Chicken Hawks. They didn't play like chicken hawks against the Broncos. That's what I mean, totally unpredictable with a pretty good D also. I'm sure it'll be a good game, then I thought the Broncos would show well in Indy, so obviously I'm not the best in picking results lately.
Good luck
Jeff

It just started snowin this morning and by all predictions both games are gonna be white, windy and cold. Was supposed to start last night so maybe that means it will last through tomorrow morning. I dont care about the AFC game. I cant find a reason to root for either team accept I have a lot of freinds from NE and it would be nice to see the Eagles play the defending NFL champs and hopefully give me a reason to talk shit through the summer. We'd probably be better off with Pitt and their great rookie whos ready to choke and cost them the game they shoulda lost already.
Looks like Indys fine putting all their cap into O so their not breaking up the 3 amigos. It will be a while before Plumber can match wits with the best of the AFC. If theirs any reason I dont want the Pats in this superbowl its so I dont have to listen to any more of this dynasty shit.

Im sure he'll pull out every trick in the book. Fake feild goals and double reverses to WRs wont phase NE.
Im still lovin the hits Brian Dawkins and Holland Thomas put on Crumpler and Vick. Vick got a good hit early that made him think twice about leavin his protection. Getting hit by Thomas at like 320 lbs is like getting hit by a car. At least its no hack wild card team like Carolina going up agains NE this year though they did make a game of it last year. Somehow NE looks better then they ever have lately.

Im friends with a LOT of NE fans. 2 members of my band are from NE. I had to hear 'title town' being thrown around all year but if I hear it one more time someones gettin knocked out so this SB is pretty sweet though I think they have somwhat of a ginormous edge. I have to keep reminding them noone in NE cared about the Pats until this year even after 2 SB titles, and the Sox and Sox fans spent 80 years being as pathetic as you get. So an upset this year would be sweet for me in soooo many ways.

I bet your bummed out that the Eagles lost. I'm a Bucs fan and the Eagle talked some shit when the Bucs went all the way, so I was rooting against them. I know how you feel. I felt the same way when the Rams beat the Bucs in that contoversial Conference Championship game enroute to a SUperboawl win.
Cheer up.There's always next year

Billy,
Good game. Sorry your boys were on the losing end of this one. The D played good and T.O had a great game. Low scoring, it's what I expected. They need to keep that nucleus of players and it could be a repeat game next year. The Patriots are just plain good. I thought they blew it in the last 5 minutes. They might have had a chance if they used better clock management in the last few minutes.
Good Luck next year!
Jeff

I wasnt able to look at this post in a while.
Well the one consilation is the franchise is doing everything right. Every key player and personel is staying around and each year theyre just going farther and farther. Not many people can say they get to watch a great season in routing for their team for 5 strait years of playoffs and 4 strait years with Championship games. Talk about dynasty. Theres just one important peice missing. A Lombarde Trophy. Hell noone even respects the Bills for theyre run! Got to get a W. The Pats are amazing. All everyone was talkin about is theyre defensive scheme and the first defensive series they came out with the complete opposite of their normal scheme. Westbrook and Owens both had 100yd games and they couldnt win
Its amazing how the MVPs on the Pats always have the kind of numbers that would be average or shitty on other teams. Even their biggest star quarterback is like 12th overall in QB ratings. The entire leagues only hope next year is a weak Pats team. Lets see a repeat of 2002!
