I told a friend I'd attempt to re-do the electronics in her Dot (yeah, I know -- pain in the ass), and was thinking while getting in there, a pickup upgrade might be worthwhile. I've never really shopped for pickups for a semi-hollow, so I was curious what peoples' opinions were. Style is hard-rock/punk type stuff.

I'd recommend a a5 magnet paf (or pat number or t top pup) with medium or slightly low output. perhaps assymetrical winding is a good idea - especially for the neck pup. this should give a defined and punchy sound!
I recommend highorder, lollar or skatterbranes. SD 59s should also work
for an easy method of changing pups in a 335, see the stewmac website.

I would like to add SD Antiquity's to the list as well.
Electronics should be fine.. if not, 500K CTS pots, .022 or .047 caps (to taste. maybe even paper film) Switchcraft or Authentic Gibson Replacement parts.
