I never really understood that, how a straight six "out-noises" a V-8. Must be either some massive piston size, or maybe firing order?? Maybe just the layout of 6 jugs in a line compared to 2 banks of 4 cylinders??
Really, the same thing is true of a big twin vs an inline four on a bike. That big twin can make some NOISE, man!!
I one time got a Thunderheader from Simms and wondered why it was so loud? No baffle, man it sounded good but this has really got to be the most aggravating exhaust to any unfortunate drivers with there window left down,or bikes on my right hand side.127 S&S BY H&L.

Got to see Albert at the Lonestar in NY in 89 or 90 and his tone, bending etc despite him being very tired was something I'll never forget.I'm glad I got to see him play as well as meet him after he was done playing.
That's what was nice about that place, you could always meet the person playing at the Lonestar unlike other venues where they just escape.
OH I love that guitar, its beautiful,I keep getting off track with motorcycles, noise, bars, tone etc?

I dunno, James, with the weather in that pic you posted I wouldn't have either my '50 Chev or my '53 pickup out of the garage, and certainly wouldn't have chanced a bike. Looks like thunder ahead and it ain't all the headers!!

Oh, man... I gotta think its into 5 figures real easily. Albert Kings own ACTUAL guitar?? Its always about finding the right buyer, but Ill bet if a few notables (S. Seagal, Clapton, Gary Moore, Yngwie J... even Yngwie Dave  ) got wind of THAT ever being for sale??? BIG, BIG bucks, Im certain of it. Steven Seagal says that his other Albert King guitar is THE most significant guitar in his collection, and he has some really nice stuff.
If that were mine, and I had the need to sell it, I wouldnt take less than high 5 figures, possibly 6 figures. I dont know if it would actually bring that much, but I wouldnt start at less, thats for sure. Something THAT significant would have to go to Christies or Sotheby's... eBay wouldnt even be a consideration.

If there was a nice piece of tail on the back he'd never notice the noise, and he'd be behind you for miles.

Bluze, you better hurry up with fresh pics before we take over this thread talking about how you can always tell how fine an ass is by how it spreads across the back of a Harley..........  I mean, I'm sure Albert loved sweet backsides too, but that wasn't the point.
