Just remember, Dan, in a year when a quad of Mullards cost them $1000 and they can't hear anything else they like, you'll still be able to buy a set of power tubes without a 60 month personal loan.......Billy Batz wrote:Stop!!!SB Monster wrote:got some xf2's - jesus! just like george describes, clean, headroom, warm, greasy, bloom, well worth it, i reckon i got em cheap, a quad for $230, waaaaaay superior to anything else I've tried. Got 'em from a hifi dealer on ebay in the uk, he hadn't tested them but after talking to him on the phone I thought it was worth taking a chance and i'm glad i did they were perfectly matched and tested brand new so guess i was lucky. gonna get some more for sure though. I've had jj el34ls, gt6ca7ge's, gt and va kt66's but these are THE best.killertone wrote:Care to tell me where you got 'em? I really want a quad of those!!
